Anaïs Nin: “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom”

I don’t know if it’s my hormones talking, but moving back to Nashville with my family looks more and more appealing. I was going to stay here and get an apartment while i attend a community college, but finding a job right where i live is so frustrating. Plus, I really need to save my money. My therapist said I have been improving when I went to see her today and that a change in scenery wouldn’t be such a bad thing for me. I think she’s right. If I move back to Nashville, money wouldn’t be as much as an issue, and I will have family near me. In four years, my mom’s job will be paying for 70% of my tuition. Most of my friends are leaving for college, and I could always come back and visit for the holidays. I just don’t think there’s honestly anything worth staying for here at this point in my life, to be blunt about it. It wouldn’t be so bad to step out of my comfort zone and start over.
